Free LPG connection + ₹300 back per refill
A free LPG gas connection for women from poor families, and ₹300 back in the bank on refills.
💰 What you get
- Free connection: cylinder deposit, regulator, pipe, card and fitting.
- First refill and the gas stove are free under Ujjwala 2.0.
- ₹300 back into your bank account per 14.2 kg cylinder on up to 4 refills a year (as of June 2026).
✅ Who can apply
- ✔A woman aged 18 or above.
- ✔Nobody in the household has an LPG connection.
- ✔The household is SC/ST, a PMAY-G family, Antyodaya (AAY), forest dweller, most backward class — or a poor family that signs the 14-point declaration.
❌ Who cannot
- ✘Households that already have an LPG connection.
- ✘Families with a motor vehicle, a government employee, income/professional tax payers, or income over ₹10,000 a month (14-point declaration).
🪜 How to apply, step by step
- 1Go to your nearest LPG distributor (Indane, Bharat Gas or HP Gas), or apply at pmuy.gov.in.
- 2Fill in the KYC form and give your documents.
- 3After checking, the connection is given in the woman's name.
- 4Book refills as usual — the ₹300 comes back to your bank account.

- The number of refills with ₹300 back has changed over time — confirm with your distributor.
