Monthly pension — ₹3,500 at 80+
A monthly pension for poor elders, widows and people with disability, paid into the bank every month.
💰 What you get
- ₹3,500 a month for people aged 80+ and people with 80% or more disability (from 2025).
- Ages 60–79: a smaller monthly pension (the official page shows ₹1,000 a month — confirm at the Block).
- Paid every month into your bank account.
✅ Who can apply
- ✔People aged 60 and above from low-income families.
- ✔Widows of any age.
- ✔People with disability (with a Medical Board certificate).
- ✔Leprosy patients with visible deformity, any age.
❌ Who cannot
- ✘Income limits and other conditions — ask the Block office or the District Social Security Officer.
🪜 How to apply, step by step
- 1Get the form free at the Gram Panchayat office or the Block (BDO) office.
- 2Fill it in and submit it with your documents at the Gram Panchayat or Block.
- 3After checking, the pension is approved and paid into your bank account every month.
- 4For problems, contact the District Social Security Officer (DSSO).
